Midwood toothache.
There are different reasons why a patient may have a Midwood toothache. However, a toothache is definitely a sign that you have a problem in your mouth, and the sooner it is diagnosed and addressed, the sooner you will be feeling better. A root canal treatment is needed when a tooth has damaged or infected pulp in its center. When this is the case, your tooth may feel painful when you eat something that is hot or cold, or when pressure is placed upon it. You even may feel continuous pain from this condition. Our dentist will determine if your tooth does have damaged pulp. If this is the case, you will need to have a root canal treatment in order to save the tooth. The good news is that root canal treatments are effective in saving teeth in over 90% of cases. However, there are times when a tooth is so damaged or infected that it cannot be saved with a root canal. If this is the case, our dentist will let you know, and he can extract the tooth so that it does not continue to cause tooth pain and infection in your mouth. Afterwards, your tooth should be replaced with a dental implant or a dental bridge. Wisdom teeth also commonly cause tooth pain. This is because wisdom teeth often cannot erupt due to the fact that there is not enough room left in the mouth for this to occur. When wisdom teeth cause any type of tooth pain or disruption in your mouth, they are generally extracted. Wisdom teeth do not need to be replaced since they are not needed for chewing or for clear speech.
