Dr. Zhukovsky has been practicing general dentistry in this area since 1993. He received his first degree as Doctor of Stomatology from Minsk State Dental School (Belarus, USSR) in 1982, graduated with Honors. After practicing general dentistry for 7 years in Belarus, USSR Dr. Zhukovsky continued his dental education in New York University College of Dentistry and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1993, graduated with Honors.
Dr. Zhukovsky is currently active in teaching and dental research as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontic Sciences, New York University College of Dentistry.
Dr. Zhukovsky also lectured for dentists at the 1996 World Dental Congress in Orlando and the 1998 World Dental Congress in Barcelona, Spain as well as nationally.
Committed to advancing his dental knowledge through continuing his dental education, Dr. Zhukovsky takes an average of 50 hours of post-graduate dental courses per year. He completed all of the requirements to receive Academy of General Dentistry Fellowship Award including the completion of 500 hours of continuing dental education courses and passed a comprehensive 400-question Academy of General Dentistry Fellowship Examination.
Dr. Zhukovsky is proficient in a wide range of state-of-the-art dental procedures and techniques which are reinforced by his pursuit of continuing education at the highest level. He is highly regarded in his respective field of Restorative Dentistry. For his contributions to dental education, he has been awarded the prestigious Fellowship of the Academy of General Dentistry Fellowship Award at Academy of General Dentistry Convocation Ceremony during 2000 AGD Annual Meeting in Toronto. This Award symbolizes the professional responsibility of general dentists to remain current in their profession and reminds each member of dental profession to continue to learn new techniques for their dental practice.
International WHO'S WHO of ENTERPRENEURS recognized Dr. Zhukovsky as one of the leading dental professionals for the year 1999 and announced that Dr. Zhukovsky has been selected an honored member of International WHO'S WHO for the Year 1999 as a professional.
Dr. Zhukovsky is married to an exceptionally talented dental hygienist Irina Zhukovsky, RDH and has one child.
Dr. Zhukovsky presented two International Lectures at World Dental Congress in Barcelona and Orlando as well as eleven Nationwide Lectures.
Dr. Zhukovsky has also four International Publications and twelve National Publications.
