Leonard Zhukovsky, DDS, FAGD

Dr. Leonard Zhukovsky is a distinguished general dentist known for his precision, artistry, and commitment to excellence. With more than three decades of experience, he has been providing refined, patient-centered dental care to the Brooklyn community since 1993.

Dr. Zhukovsky earned his first dental degree, Doctor of Stomatology (equivalent to Doctor of Dental Surgery, DDS), from Minsk State Dental School, graduating with Honors. He later completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at New York University College of Dentistry—also with Honors.

Dr. Zhukovsky remains deeply engaged in dental education and research. He serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontic Sciences at New York University College of Dentistry, where he contributes to the advancement of modern restorative care. Dr. Zhukovsky’s work features numerous distinguished international publications as well as notable national publications.

Internationally respected for his expertise, Dr. Zhukovsky has lectured at prestigious dental forums, including the World Dental Congress in Orlando and Barcelona, Spain. His dedication to lifelong learning is reflected in his completion of more than 500 hours of advanced postgraduate education and the achievement of the Fellowship of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), a distinction held by fewer than ten percent of general dentists. He received this honor at the Academy of General Dentistry Convocation during the 2000 AGD Annual Meeting in Toronto.

Recognized for his leadership and contributions to the profession, Dr. Zhukovsky has been honored by the International WHO’S WHO of Entrepreneurs as one of the leading dental professionals.

Dr. Zhukovsky combines advanced restorative techniques with a meticulous, thoughtful approach to care creating an elevated dental experience defined by comfort, trust, and exceptional results.

Dr. Zhukovsky is married to Irina Zhukovsky, RDH, an exceptionally talented dental hygienist. Their family’s legacy of excellence continues with their son, David Zhukovsky, DMD, who now practices alongside his father at Zhukovsky Dental, carrying forward the same commitment to artistry, precision, and patient care.

Outside the office, Dr. Zhukovsky pursues travel and sports photography and enjoys playing tennis.
